Raymond J. Falcon, Jr.
Raymond J. Falcon, Jr. is a founding principal of Falcon + Singer P.C., a law firm with offices in offices Montvale, New Jersey and Scarsdale, New York. He advises clients in matters of estate planning and probate and administration of decedent's estates, with a concentration in planning for families with members who have special needs. He provides support to plaintiffs' personal injury attorneys in connection with special needs planning for personal injury victims. At the invitation of governmental agencies, school districts, charitable organizations, major insurance companies and investment advisors, Ray has lectured frequently on estate planning, planning for families with a special needs member, guardianship, and governmental benefits.
He also counsels privately-held businesses and their owners in all general legal areas affecting their businesses, and provides integrated business succession planning and estate planning tailored to the needs of business owners and their families. In addition, he served as Vice President and General Counsel of a multi-national multi-billion dollar chemical company for a number of years. There, he was responsible for developing and directing the overall legal and insurance strategy and policies for the company, as well as playing an active role in the company's public relations and governmental affairs activities. He was also a member of its Executive Committee, composed of the CEO and seven other senior executives, which ran the company. As a result of this in-house tenure as an attorney and senior executive, Ray possesses a unique blend of business and legal experience which is of particular help to owners of closely held businesses, for which he acts as an "outside" general counsel.
