Douglas E. Singer
Douglas E. Singer is a founding principal of Falcon + Singer P.C., a law firm with offices in offices Montvale, New Jersey and Scarsdale, New York. Doug is admitted to practice in New York.
Doug's principal corporate law activities include assisting the owners and executives of privately held companies as the equivalent of an inhouse counsel or consigliere (that is, blending legal with business considerations) and handling contracts and other transactions for those and other privately held companies. He works with companies in a wide range of industries, including aviation, entertainment, medical and real estate.
In addition, he works with both individuals and companies which are based outside the U.S. and have businesses or interests, or are seeking to do business, in the U.S.
Doug also advises clients on estate planning matters.
Prior to founding Falcon + Singer P.C., Doug worked at Webster & Sheffield and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in New York City. While at those firms, Doug worked on a wide variety of corporate and real estate transactions, including oil and gas exploration and development financing transactions, private equity transactions, matters involving Japanese business clients doing business in the United States, and health care transactions.

Doug has a peer review rating of AV® from Martindale-Hubbell, which is Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for both legal ability and ethical standards.
Doug is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and New York City Bar Association.
Falcon + Singer is a member of The Business Council of Westchester, and Doug is active with the organization's Small Business Council and Governmental Action Council, where he focuses on issues relating to economic development.
Doug is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Westchester/Hudson Valley Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During his tenure, he has focused on strategic planning matters. He also has run marathons, and helped train marathon and half-marathoners, for the Team in Training Division of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He has received service and fund-raising awards for his activities with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Doug has served as a scoring judge in student mock trials for the American Mock Trial Association.
